Estudia la terapéutica intervencionista percutánea de la cardiopatía isquémica y el estudio de la angioplastia primaria y de rescate en el infarto de miocardio con elevación del ST. Implantación de dispositivos endovasculares: stents farmacoactivos, prótesis percutáneas y tratamiento percutáneo de cierre de la orejuela. Fisiopatología del daño vascular y estudio de trastornos de la hemostasia. Nuevas perspectivas de tratamiento antiagregante.
