Since the last year of my studies in Veterinary Medicine (University of Murcia, 2003/2004), I have participated actively in the research group Toxicology, directed by Professor Antonio Juan García- Fernández. Within this group I have coauthored 26 research articles (14 in the first tercile JCR). Four of these articles are derived from my PhD Dissertation (with European distinction and extraordinary doctorate prize). In addition, I have coauthored 4 book chapters, three of them from the 3rd edition of the “Encyclopaedia of Toxicology”. I have also co-authored over 70 national and international conference communications (poster, plenary or platform presentations). I have been granted within research projects and also for my PhD studies. I did two research stays during my PhD studies at “ALTERRA- Wageningen UR” in Wageningen (The Netherlands). As a PhD I also stayed at “Centre for Ecology and Hydrology Lancaster” (UK), “Institute for Environmental Studies of Vrije Universiteit” de Amsterdam (The Netherlands) and “ALTERRA- Wageningen UR”, funded by the la European Science Foundation to compile information about biomonitoring studies using birds of prey in Europe. In 2014 I also stayed 4 months at NTNU (Norway) funded by the NILS programme. As result of my stays I published 3 articles in journals at Q1 JCR. I have been registered as Toxicologist since 2012 at the European Registration of Toxicologists. I have been giving lectures at University level since 2008 and have directed or codirected 1 PhD dissertation, 10 Bachelors Thesis and 3 MSc Thesis. Finally, I have participated in the organization of 4 workshops and periodic dissemination talks organised by the young researchers association of Murcia.
